Our story began with a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage and timeless beauty of semi-precious gemstones. Born out of a desire to preserve and celebrate the artistry of traditional jewelry-making, our brand was founded early 2024 on the belief that every gemstone every pearl holds a story, and every piece of jewelry is a vessel for that story to be shared.

In Sydney, a city where modernity and tradition coexist, we saw an opportunity to bring these age-old crafts to life in a new way. Our founder Reem, grew up surrounded by jewelry makers in the family with gold and real gemstones workshops and stores in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates. With a great eye to detail and appreciation of the vibrancy of traditional jewelry from an early age, she was captivated by the colors, textures, and stories each piece carried. However, having moved to Sydney she noticed a growing gap in the market—while the demand for contemporary jewelry was booming, the essence of traditional craftsmanship was being lost.

Determined to bridge this gap, 'Jewels by Reem' has embarked on a journey to create a brand that would not only offer exquisite jewelry but also honor the traditions and techniques passed down through generations from the Nizams of Hyderabad, India. We sought out skilled artisans from the city of the Nawabs, each bringing their own unique expertise and cultural influences. Together, we crafted collections that are a harmonious blend of old-world charm and modern elegance.
